Full pricing details revealed as well.
Toyota has unveiled the 2022 Supra, debuting the new A91-CF Edition. The latest limited-run Toyota Supra is restricted to just 600 units total, all of which will be sold in North America.
Highlights of the 2022 Toyota Supra A91-CF Edition include a fresh carbon fiber body kit, which adds a set of front canards, rockers, and a rear duckbill spoiler. Toyota claims that the composite aero bits are fully functional and produce an unspecified level of downforce.
Wheel spec for the special edition A91-CF is a set 19's in a matte-black finish, while available exterior paint colors include Absolute Zero, Nitro Yellow, or Phantom. Inside the cabin, you'll find a unique red-and-black treatment for the leather and Alcantara upholstery, plus the requisite carbon fiber doodads.
As for the rest of the 2022 Toyota Supra lineup, the two-door now boasts more standard equipment, such as standard heated seats for Supra 3.0 models, and full-screen Apple CarPlay compatibility for models equipped with the Premium Audio package. Toyota Supra 3.0 Premium models now offer a red-trimmed leather interior as an optional upgrade.
Also of note is the one-year complimentary membership to the National Auto Sport Association (NASA), giving 2022 Toyota Supra owners a chance to learn the limits of their new sports car properly. The membership tosses in one free High Performance Driving Experience (HPDE), which is the perfect way to get comfortable behind the wheel. Given the crazy levels of performance on offer these days, we wish more automakers would include track driving opportunities with their sports cars, but we digress.
Speaking of performance, the fifth-generation Toyota Supra is available with two engine specs, topped by the BMW-sourced, turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder B58, rated at 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque, and capable of propelling the two-door to 60 mph in just under 4 seconds.
There's also the BMW-sourced, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder B48, rated at 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, and capable of sending the Supra to 60 mph in 5 seconds flat.
Both engines mate to an eight-speed automatic transmission, while Adaptive Variable Sport suspension, Brembo brakes, and an active rear differential are standard on six-cylinder models.
Pricing for the 2022 Toyota Supra starts at $43,290 for the 2.0-liter, $51,640 for the 3.0-liter, $54,790 for the 3.0 Premium, and $63,280 for the 2022 GR Supra A-91 CF Edition.
