In case you missed it, Tuner Fan was on the scene at last month's 24 Hours of Lemons Arse-Freeze-Apalooza event at Sonoma Raceway, bearing witness to all the rusty merrymaking and high-speed shenanigans expected of the series. Now, we're back at it with this mega photo gallery - no tetanus shot required.
For those who may not know, the 24 Hours of Lemons is an amateur racing series wherein competing vehicles are limited to a $500 budget. Lemons hosts events all over the U.S., drawing an eclectic mix of speed addicts, engineering nerds, and general weirdos.
Then you have the cars, with competitors encouraged to make their vehicle look as goofy and dilapidated as possible. Ever seen a boosted Mazda Miata go wheel-to-wheel against a Honda Civic with no top and a Jeep grille? Yeah, that's what we're talking about.
