JDM Rendering Shows Off 2023 Nissan Z Body Kit

Styling options incoming.

Nissan pulled the sheets on the 2023 Nissan Z last August, serving up a brand-new seventh-generation sports car with a laundry list of promising specs. Now, two Japanese tuners have unveiled a new rendering that previews an upcoming body kit for the '23 Z.

First announced at the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon, the new 2023 Nissan Z body kit concept is the product of a collaboration between Central 20 and Busou, and includes a new front bumper, carbon fiber splitter, and side skirts. Red accents add a splash of color, while black detailing for the hood and lower ground effects complement the black sideview mirrors and roof. Six-spoke wheels (possibly the popular Rays TE37) reside in the corners, housing plus-sized brake calipers finished in red.

So far, we've seen several 2023 Nissan Z styling concepts from the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon, with one of the most exciting coming straight from Nissan itself. Dubbed the Fairlady Z Customized Proto, the official Nissan concept incorporates elements of the classic 1970 Fairlady Z 432R, revamping the front end with a new split-shaped front intake. No word on whether Nissan will actually produce this new fascia, but we've got our fingers crossed.

While we love the profile and rear three-quarters of the new 2023 Nissan Z, we still think the front end needs a little work. Luckily, it looks like the tuners will step up to offer a few options in that regard.

After all, the numbers are not to be denied. Under the hood, the 2023 Nissan Z cradles a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6, which throws down with 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Output is fed through either a six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic. Pricing will start around $40,000.

Stay tuned for even more JDM goodness set to roll through soon.
