Turbo stroker motor plus nitrous.
BMW jokes aside, there's no denying that the fifth-generation Toyota Supra is quick. Now, we're watching as this A90 dips into an 8-second quarter mile with a stroker motor and nitrous.
Coming to us from the fine folks at 1320 Video, the feature car was built by Titan Motorsports, with Adil Adams taking the wheel. Highlights include a stroker kit that ups displacement on the B58 to 3.2 liters, as well as a bottom-mount turbocharger and gorgeous CSF intake manifold, plus a series of standard bolt-on components to make it all work.
Output is measured at about 1,050 horsepower with the spray. As a reminder, the Mk. V Toyota Supra 3.0 is rated at 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque from the factory.
At the time of filming, the engine setup was relatively new, with Adams laying down quick passes while testing and tuning as needed. Nevertheless, Adams' Toyota Supra is already posting some impressive numbers, running well into the low-9's and even dipping into the 8's.
The way this drag-prepped Supra runs is pretty impressive as well, with tons of traction right off the line and arrow-straight passes. Check it out for yourself right here:
