Walk Around The 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon With This Video

Getting up close to oodles of fresh JDM hotness.

As is tradition, the Tokyo Auto Salon brought out some very tasty debuts for 2022, bouncing back hard after the cancellation of last year's event. In addition to a multitude of modified and custom vehicles, the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon also featured a number of official factory reveals that demand our attention, and now, we're reliving the show with the following walkaround video.

Hosted by the Auto Culture YouTube channel, the video is a little under 30 minutes long, and hits a wide variety of booths, all with a relaxed and casual attitude, plus some light narration.

For those readers who may not know, the Tokyo Auto Salon is an annual car show event that was first held in 1983. In the nearly four decades since, TAS has grown to become one of the most important auto shows of the year for tuners and modified-car builders. The big Japanese automakers also regularly get in on the action with their own customization and performance reveals.

The 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon was no different, with Toyota revealing the Toyota GR GT3, a new customer racing machine, as well as the new limited edition GRMN Yaris, a tuned-up version of the hot hatch with even sharper specs. Subaru was at the show with its 1,073-horsepower STI E-RA all-electric race car, while Nissan showed off an attractive front-end styling concept for the 2023 Nissan Z.

Of course, that's just a small slice of what was in store at the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon. If you're craving more, then hit play on the video below:
